Thank you for using StatKeeper Baseball (the "App"). This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

1. Information We Collect

We collect two types of information:

Information You Provide (Managers/Coaches):

• Account information (such as name and email address) to create and manage your profile.
• Team information (such as team name).
• Player information (such as player names) to create and manage your roster.
• Content you generate (team announcements, polls, calendar events).

Information Players/Parents Provide:

• Login information (such as the team code) to access the read-only portal.

Information Collected Automatically:

• Usage and Analytics Data: We use third-party services, such as Firebase (Google), to automatically collect information about how you use the App. This includes crash reports, feature usage statistics, and device identifiers. This helps us improve the App and fix bugs.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and maintain the core service of the App (creating teams, tracking stats, etc.).
• Enable the "Player & Parent Portal" functionality via the team code.
• Communicate with you (via the Team Hub).
• Analyze and improve the App's performance and stability.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only under the following circumstances:

• With Your Team: A team's information (roster, stats, calendar) is visible to that team's Manager and to the Players/Parents who have joined that specific team using the invitation code.
• With Service Providers: We share data with vendors who help us operate, such as Google (for Firebase services like database hosting, authentication, and analytics). They are obligated to protect your data.
• For Legal Requirements: If required by law.

4. Data Security

We take reasonable measures (such as using Firebase's secure services) to protect your information from loss, theft, or unauthorized access.

5. Children's Privacy (VERY IMPORTANT!)

We understand our App may be used by teams that include minors (such as little league).

• The App is designed to be managed by an adult (Manager or Coach).
• We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the age of consent in your region) for account creation.
• The adult Manager is responsible for entering player names into the roster, which may include minors.
• The "Player & Parent Portal" allows parents to supervise their child's information.
• If we discover we have collected a child's information without appropriate parental consent, we will delete it.

6. Your Choices

• You can review and update your team and roster information directly within the App.
• You can delete your team or your account, which will remove associated data from our active servers.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page.
